John has 30+ years experience leading complex, cross-functional and inter-disciplinary programs. His expertise includes leading strategy execution, strategic planning, business model development with a strategy execution focus, and strategic facilitation for cross-functional, global executive teams. He has extensive experience leading project-based work in applied research and development. Using his broad experience across a wide variety of businesses John provides critical consulting for clients operating in global, distributed business environments. He leads the practioner-based research that supports the Stanford Advanced Project Management Program (SAPM) of the Stanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD). John has an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, an M.F. from N.C. State University, and a B.S. from Davidson College.
